Hello Everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself as a new forum member. I'm in Canada (Manitoba to be exact) and I'm really excited to be a member of this forum. I have viewed a few posts in the past as a guest and I must say the knowledge base among members here is unbelievable. This forum and its  membership are a traditional archery treasure trove.
So a little about me. My first bow was a 15# sears fiberglass bow 59 years ago when I was 6 years old. Over the years I've made and experimented with alot of homemade wood bows and arrows. Career slowed my archery for many years but I never quit shooting. Ended up buying several custom recurves and longbows over the years. Competed in 3D traditional matches and hunted when time was available. Now I'm retired time is always available. LOL I love building top notch bamboo and wood arrows. It's something to do when the Canadian winter sets in. I hope I can maybe contribute to this great forum on occasion.
On another note I have a question. Back in February 2010 a member named Jason R. Wesbrook posted a Four-Point Arrow Footing Jig build along. I would be interested in giving this a try. Unfortunately the photos with some critical dimensions are no longer with the post. I was wondering if anyone happened to save that post or the photos from that post so long ago. Anyway I'm really excited to get reading and learning and conversing here. It's gonna be a great winter!

I can't help with the footing jig, but a great big welcome to the forum.   :wavey:
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Jason R. Westbrock (not Westbrook) is still listed as a member, although has no recent activity. I remember he was quite well known in the traditional archery world about 10 years ago, maybe still is. He listed jasonwesbrock@yahoo.com as his contact address.  Possibly worth a try.
