Well those hooks are cut down a bit when the length is established, but they still have a pretty nice hook when finished.  About 3.5" ahead of the riser, and the preload is outstanding!.

BTW..... Those tip overlay photos just have a sanding sealer on them to pop the color. The finish sanding cleans up those marks and flaws before finishing the bow... Just a heads up.
