Folks, Ken Beck "Mr. Black Widow Bows" will be Inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame this coming May 2026.  I first got to meet Ken over the phone while trying to raise money for my state traditional archery organization here in Alabama nearly 30 years ago.  We've been good friends ever since.

I have always said that people bring Vendors and Vendors bring people.  There are several national Vendors we all aspire to have come to our events.  Those such as Bear Archery, 3Rivers Archery and Big Jim's Bow Company.  Black Widow is certainly one of the best we all go after. 

Black Widow Bow company has helped many clubs raise money over the years and has supported many by just going to their events. 

I think that now's the time we all honor Ken Beck by trying to make it to his Induction into the Archery Hall of Fame.  If not all the members of these clubs he and Black Widow Bows have supported, but a healthy contingency should try and be there.

With that being said, I firmly feel all people that love archery should support your legacy and join the Archery Hall of Fame & Museum as supporting members.  We all either may know or at least we've heard of our archery heroes.  And who knows, someone we may know personally today may one day be Inducted themselves.

Folks, without people like Ken Beck, who personally resurrected a failed Black Widow Bow Company that the Wilson Brothers started, archery could not be what it is today.   Come join us, you won't regret it.

Ken Beck has been a special gift to the traditional world.

Well deserved! Ken is a special individual that has done a lot for the traditional community. Ken was the speaker at my church's first Wild Game Dinner back in 2013. He did a tremendous job, and folks still talk about how much they enjoyed listening to him. A young girl that heard his presentation told me that he loved his voice! She said he could talk about frying eggs, and she would hang on every word! Congratulations Mr. Beck!
