Montana bow Company (Dan Toelke), Cari-Bow longbows, Big Jims Bow Company, Stalker Stickbows (South also bought out Dryad and A & H), Bigfoot bows, Centaur, and there are probably 20 more companies (at least) that make "short" longbows.  Most of the ones mentioned here are also sponsors or previous sponsors of Tradgang.

All of those already mentioned plus JK Traditions/Kanati, Java Man, Toelke/Montana Bow Co and a bunch more I can't think of right now.

You are talking substantial/extreme r/d bows -- hybrids-- right, like those mentioned above.  Not aware of anyone who makes an ASL that short. It wouldn't be an ASL.

Kota Bows—Tim makes some nice bows.

Intrepid Longbows Endeavor is 58 inches.

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Here's a pair of JT traditional Apollo 2 58" longbows. This is my favorite bow hands down. I was shooting a 60" shrew prior to shooting this bow.

Many bow company and bowyers mentioned, 58" makes the bow tough to shoot if you have a draw much over @27".   As mentioned it would be a D/R bow.

It all depends on the bowyer and bow design. I really like short bows for hunting, and have found bowyers that excel at making them. Gregg Coffey's Elkheart @ 56" was a game changer. I draw 28.5" and it was more accurate than the much longer r/d longbows I had at the time (62" Black Widow PL, 66" Harrison American Wolf, 68" Bighorn Ramhunter, 68" Jerry Hill Wildcat Deluxe). After that, it was the 54" Toelke Pika, and I group the same as I do with my 64" Toelke Whip. The 52" Elkheart Magnum groups the same as the 56" Elkheart. Found a rare LH 52" Toelke Kestrel,  and it groups with the 58" Chinook. The 56" Big Jim Thunderchild, and the 58" Centaur XTL Longbow are deadly accurate.
All of these bows are free from stacking or finger pinch at my draw length.
I'm convinced that these bowyers have figured out bow design for a shorter overall length without compromising accuracy or speed. Keep in mind, follow the bowyers recommendation for your draw length, and don't overbow yourself.

with my long arms those short bows just don't get it. I like mine to be 68" or maybe a little longer.
