I just shot a friend's GP's "Long Curve" today and fell in love with the longbow-like riser and recurve limb perforance!   My question is what other makers have bows like this design and how do they compare with the Great Plains bow?   Thanks for any insight evrybody.   BTW any Long Curve shooters care to tell how they like their bows?   Skychief.

I have never shot a GP but always pause and stare while thumbing through a 3RA catalog. I promise to shoot one the next time I'm up there, and that maybe soon!

I traded for one last year. I felt the same way when I shot it that you did, and I'm still shooting it. It has become my "daily driver", so to speak.

Mine's 58", about 55# at my 26.5" draw. Smooth, fast, and the arrows seem to go where I look pretty easily when I do my part. What else do you need?

Yeah, it's a good bow.
