that reminds me of the time my dad was trying to convince me on heavy arrows.  he dismantled an old yard dart, shoved the business end inside a very large aluminum arrow glued it up and put it in my quiver one weekend while I was at college.  Something Ill never forget, good memories and kudos for entertaining the thought.

Thanks all! I did find it funny that his first thought was to make the dowel into an arrow. Usually kids that age would have used it as a sword. I'll have to keep an eye on this one,LOL!

Thats great!

This kills me because, I noticed today stump shooting the my oldest (5) gets pumped when I bust arrows.  Seems my loss means a fuller quiver for him!  Never made the connection, but he sure did.
