Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

No point. All three sides are on different planes and work against eachother as far as twisting in the animals go. Or so it would seem to me.  But what do I know.

I think I know what Cutiss is thinking.....      :bigsmyl:

Years ago (in the "compound" days) The "Razorback 5" broadhead was all the rage.

The broadhead was designed with a blade "cartrige" that spun freely on the screw-in shaft. The logic being that an arrow spins through the air,but when the broadhead hits the target the arrow stops dead.(i.e.spinning) retarding penetration. With the "Razrback 5" broadhead when the broadhead stops, the arrow shaft continues spinning providing that extra "push" and increasing penetration.

It's a good concept.....I don't know weather it works or not.....but it seems better than todays "faster is better" compound mentality.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

When I was misguided in the 80s and shot a wheelie contraption I used Razorbak 5 broadheads and they both flew terrifically the did penetrate very well.
I don't think the three blades would work against each other. What I thought would happen is a spiral trajectory through flesh, like a pinwheel following the path of least resistance.

I had some delma 3 blade heads that fit over the old thin carbon shafts that came only sharpened on on side. Kind of a pain to sharpen. Tried to find one in my junk stash but couldn't find one.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])
