Has anyone saw or knows where to get some of these old plastic rests? This came on a old pearson Strato-jet glas bow.

Never seen them before but they look like they would be fairly simple to make a mold of and pour a few from Urethane.

I was thinking the samething on making some. I thought about heating up a plastic spoon and forming it with needlenose pliers. I was considering the mold idea aswell. What do you use for the mold "plaster"? If you would point me in the right direction on the materials. Is the urethane like varnish? I have several old bows that need these rests. Stick on brush rests don't work well.THX

Make a mold from latex, then a mother mold of that from plaster of paris. The mother mold gives support to the latex. Check out VanDykes taxidermy and get some "Pour-A-Cast" It's a casting urethane used for making antler replicas, etc.
