Does anybody know the correct brace height
for a kota kill-um recurve. Been shooting
the bow for a year now and I can tell it
needs a tuning, my arrows are starting to
fly bad. Does that have anything to do with
it.

Thanks,

JY

I talked to Tim and he stated that from the back of the shelf to the sting is supposed to be around 7-1/8" to 7-1/2".  He stated this because grips can vary a touch from bow to bow but his shelf stays the same.  Mine is around 7-3/8" to the back of the shelf, this puts the deepest part of my grip close to 7-3/4" to 8".

I shoot my Kota Kill-um well.  What are your spec's.  I'm thinking about getting another one 10 lbs heavier down the road.

Mine is Bocote with Birdseye Maple limbs.
