Where can I go to hunt something for a cheap price and still be close to something for the gf to do?

Killdeer

Does she like to shovel?
Killdeer  :campfire:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I always loved snow camping

I've never camped in the snow and cold weather like that , but I am currently looking for a pop up camper to take myself and one or 2 buddies hunting and use it as a base camp. I'm looking for some adventure and fun!

You can purchase a small game hunting license and bowhunt yellow bellied marmots just south of Telluride and she can shop/sightsee there in town. About $65.00 worth of license and habitat stamp. You can camp in the National Forest outside Telluride or rent a small cabin on Stoner Creek south of Rico.

SW MO deer hunt for NR is $175 ish for two deer and two turkeys. Lots of conservation, corps and NF land around the Branson area. Plus BW and Bass Pro are close too.

These critters hang out in some rocky terrain so you need plenty of extra arrows!

Rico,CO is a neat old ghost town just south of Telluride---

OR just buy an OTC cow elk archery tag for approximately $265.00 and talk her into helping you pack it out!

Im tryin to slip a trip in here in the next couple of weeks before the baby. So she will be of no help.

How bout Florida for hogs..couple hundred bucks for hunting and she can enjoy the beaches and shopping.

Texas would work too.

Izzy

Teluride and marmots sound better but FL hogs seems more practical with the baby looming.I dont know if you can still get a landowner tag for gators this time of year but it may be worth a try.Good luck with your baby.

I'm not sure where Latham NY is but there are places that will rent you a camper. There is one in Port Jervis NY.

you could come down to South Carolina hog hunting for three days for 500 bucks, then go to Savannah GA or Charleston SC and see the sights, enjoy the beach, etc.
