With all other things being equal, would you guys recommend 2-blade or 3-blade broadheads for a new longbow hunter?  I am using screw-in points and prefer a cut on contact broadhead.  My quarry will be strictly deer and turkeys.  Is there enough difference to even matter?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of the 2 blade vs. 3?

If it helps to know details, I'm drawing about 30" and shooting 31" Gold Tip 55/75's from a 50# @ 28" Internature Viper (I'd estimate the actual weight at 30" to be 55# or so).  I will be adding weight sleeves to bring the weight up closer to 10gr./pound (about 550 total arrow weight).

Thanks!

the three blade would be best for turkey IMO, and the 2 blade for the larger game, there are plenty of options with screw in adapters to get nearly any weight you desre

At that weight and your draw length you can use about anything for deer.Find a broadhead you like and can sharpen well.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

True, you really can use anything for deer.  As long as its cut on contact.

Two blade Zwickey for all that I hunt. They fly perfect, are tough as cobs and sharpen fast and easy.
