Sound stiff if you are a righty.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

Just grouping left, or nock left? If your group is left but arrows are straight in the target,  maybe put your nock point a tad higher. If your nocks are left, then hatchchaser's advice is likely. This is just from my experience. I'm no expert.

i am actually having the same problem.
i just bought some easton epic 600.
im gonna try raising my nock point tommorow.

Did you bare shaft before fletching?  I spent a lot of money on carbons.  Would get them the length I wanted and then fletch.  Took this slow learner a while to realize I had to bareshaft, especially w/my 27" draw.

If the arrows are fletched and grouping left you are for sure too stiff...

Increase point weight or increase brace height.

Need more info, bow weight, draw length, ect..

the bow is a pse sequoia longbow at 50#. im shooting beman ics 500 @30 inches with a 100 grain tip. just to be clear i should increase my brace height from 6.5 to maybe 7? or decrease?

Apex Predator

You are gonna need about 200-300 point weight to make those soften up some.  They are too stiff.  At least this is my take on it.

Well how much left and at what distance would tell more.Just try some heavier points on your arrows and see if they go back where they belong. They might be a little stiff but at that length it should not take much to bring them around for a 50lb bow.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

Check out O.L. sight and you can see you are weak spined, there is all kinds of good information for you on O.L sight .http://www.bowmaker.net/index2.htm

i think that chart means that your nock is left

Can increasing brace height really loosen up an arrow?

John

Quote: If the arrow is too weak or stiff, the oscillations are unequal, the arrow will swing more to one side than the other, causing the arrow to plane off line in that direction, away from where it was pointed. This mis-matched situation may be hardly noticeable with field tips or target points, but broadheads will magnify the problem greatly! Let's take a look at the factors involved with properly tuning your equipment and adjustments to make that will get them flying correctly.

Higher brace height requires a stiffer arrow...so if your arrows are showing slightly stiff...one of the ways you can correct it is by increasing your bow's brace height.

You can fine tune your set-up with brace height but it won't make HUGE changes.

BRITTMAN

Forgive me if Im wrong but you want to decrease brace height for to stiff of an arrow to give it more energy/speed , and for a weak spine increase brace to decrease energy/speed . I could be wrong but thats what I have always thought and used while tuning .

Brittman,

That's what I use to think...but it's actually the opposite.
