Hey all,

I picked up a ambidextrous bear grizzly static today at a used goods store.  It's 75lb draw weight and 62 inches.

I threw on some eye protection  :goldtooth and shot it a few times.  Some of the fibreglass is cracked on the backing but not too bad really the wood is excellent and I'm going to repair it with gorilla glue.  The limb tips appear to be reinforced,  am I ok to use a fast flight string?

I wouldn't take the chance. B55 would be my choice with a vintage bow.

As stated. B55 strings only. Also I'd consult a bowyer on what to fill the cracks in with. They may have a good idea other than straight gorilla glue.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

I use D97 on my '55 Grizzly, greatly improves the feel of the bow. They can be pretty shocky. Been shooting it for several years, but mine is in really good shape.
