I am lucky enough to live in shouting distance from Mike and Jason. I sold a rifle recently and had some toy money burning a hole in my pocket so I called them at 3:30 pm and they said they were quitting at 4:30pm. I arrived at 4pm with two young children in tow and they were very nice and patient letting me shoot several bows at several wieghts, explaining the differences between the different modles, ect. I went in thinking I wanted a "hunter" series bow but after trying several modles the "soothsayer" felt much better in my hand. All their bows are works of art, but the soothsayer was my favorite at the price so he wrapped it up and it rode home with me. I am very pleased with the way the bow shoots and feels, and imo this is what a trad bow should like. Mine is 64" 55# @ 28" Being only 5'6" with a 26-27" draw the bow pulls at maybe 48-50 at my draw. I wanted to stay in the 45# range but this bow pulls so nice and is so smooth at release I don't really notice the few extra pounds. Just wanted to thank Dryad bows for the professional service and their awsome bows.

Jason,

It was good meeting you and your kids.  Thanks for the kind words.  We tried to make sure that if you took a bow home it was the right one.  I think that SoothSayer is perfect for you and that you will be bring home some venison this fall with it.

Thanks again,

Mike and Jason

Mike is one of the best bowyers I have dealt with.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

Jason,

Work the brace height from 7 1/4 up or down a little to find the sweet spot.
