My taxidermist finally got my javelina mount done.  It took him over a year, but good things are worth waiting for.  He felt bad that it took so long, so he bumped my deer that I shot at the end of December to the front of the "line."  I got two animals in one trip.  My office wall is starting to get a bit crowded...  I can't wait to see the look on my wife's face when she gets home from work tonight!

Those are two beautiful animals and very nice mounts! Congrats!  ;)

I think that javi would go good in your bedroom.  Both look nice.

Those are awesome critters and beautiful mounts!!! Congrats!!!  :clapper:
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

J-dog

They are NICE! look great. Gotta love both of them but that javie mount looks sharp!

Tip though: take a butter knife and run around the deer between the mount and the wall and it will tuck that hair down making a sharper edge.
Always be stubborn.

They look great! Congrats!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Both are beautiful animals and the taxidermist did a wonderful job!  What a great trophy from some great hunts!  Cool stuff!

And I flared mine out a-purpose!!

Exceptional animals, and a great job preserving them. Yup, javie over the bed...I wish I could see her face when she comes home too!

Man, you sure are lucky if you can get away with that Javelina!  My wife is pretty easy going, but when I announced I was having my 250lb. hog done she read me the riot act.   :knothead:   BTW: beautiful mounts...your taxi did a great job.

I tried the butter knife technique, and it does look better.  Thanks for the idea!

Very nice. I have a hog but would love a javelina. Great looking mounts.
