selfbow brace height question

i have a 66" 46#@28 bbo selfbow and a 60"46#@28 bamboo backed osage ,non fast flight what is a good area to start with the 66" is a chocktaw and the 60" dont know,any help would be great.

I don't know much but i would put it about 5 1/2- 6" is a good place to start.I have heard that 1" for every foot not sure.

I brace all my selfbows and laminate bows so the fletching clears, that's all it takes.

start at 6" and just fine the sweet spot.

I use my fistmele...clinched fist with thumb extended up...about 5 1/2" to 6"...or as Dano said to clear the fletching.     Pat
