Can you put a tanto on a magnus 2 blade and if so how?

I put my to a grinding stone, then shape and sharping with a file.

I don't go to the extent of re-shaping them like a Stinger, I just grind the tip back about 1/8" to a flat point, like a Razorhead...

No problem, five minutes and a small hand file is all it takes.  Here's a Magnus I, single beveled and Tanto'd, and a close up of a STOS with a Tanto tip.
