Gotta love Osage mate, I just recived mine a few months back. I was a curve guy but now I don't know?

Enjoy your new bow,

AK.

Nice looking bow Steve!
I agree with Al...I've shot curves since I started trad bowhunting, but since I got my Wolverine longbow a couple months ago, I think I'm a longbow man now!  :D

Nice bow, Padre! I love my Black Widow longbow... but, I'm the opposite to Nige and Al, having just got back in the groove with a lovely recurve!

I'm looking forward to seeing what adventures you have with it! All the best,

Ben

Best of luck w/your new bow.  I have the same in 62" 56@28 and it's smooth as butter.  A little tricky to quiet down at first, but brace height is set at close to 7 with four silencers and it's spot on.  The beavertail sure has a nice texture unlike any other leather grip and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.  These are built like a tank, super tough like a widow should be.  Be sure to keep a photo record of how the osage darkens w/time. Sunlight (unstrung of course) sure does darken them quickly.  Congrats!  Tge
Let's go to the woods and learn things about life (Penelope, age 4, to me).

Yes, it is a takedown... I'm trying to get it all figured out, but it is a smooth shooter. I have one set of wooley whispers and one set of spider silencers on her and she just quietly whispers....
Blessings,
Steve

Pastor Steve:

Great looking bow.  I recently bought one from a fellow in Cananda 62" and 46# @ 28" in Bocote witht the Locket Socket T/D.  What a great bow from a great company.  I hope you enjoy yours.  Best of luck with it.

PastorSteve,

Any preformance data?  I ahve heard those bows really spit arrows.  How heavy are your arrows, what kind of speed, do you like the "point-ablility" etc?
