The only source I find for Fuller Plast is Duncan Direct and it appears that they sell only one gallon size.  I bet that would finish a LOT of bows.

Does anyone know if it can be gotten in smaller quantities like a quart; and if so, where can I get it?

Thanks

I think that is the only place.  Never seen another one.

Is Fuller Plast the best finish? It seems like it yellows and checks, and I have seen 70s Bear bows with a "cracked glass" look to the finish. I know that all finishes can do this, but Fuller Plast is a real bear to refinish when the time comes.
Would it be better to use a finish that is more easily refinished?

Has the modern mix of Fuller Plast solved those issues?

I got my from Duncan Direct (I think the same as Van Dee), they said it only comes in 1 gal or larger quantities, the reason is so they can classify it as "indurstrial use only" for legal reasons.
Since using it, I would not use anything else.  Very easy to use, just follow their instructions.
My bows haven't been around 20 years to crack/fade, so I can't comment on that.  But they look great and, AND, the stuff is very tough and supposed to be solvent resistent after curing.
Important?  Handle a bow after putting on sunscreen and you'll see why.

I use it to restore old bows because that's what most mfg'rs used back then (2 component calalyzed varnish).

You can go down to your local Fuller Paint store and order it. Make sure you specify gloss or matte and get the correct catalyst for it. It's now made by Orion I think. Might save a couple of $$ and probably quicker. I can't buy it in CA. Have to go to NV (I go semi-frequently anyway). I call and order/pay w/ credit card and pick it up when I get there.

I have several bows finished in Fuller Plast. It seems to hold up well in the Florida humidity and against deet.
