I think you should use a bow that you feel you are most accurate with: and a broadhead that is sharp.

I had a friend that tired of my elk hunting stories; and saw some guys practicing with their bows. He had never shot a bow; and asked if he could shoot one of their bows. The elk season was open; he did not have a tag; but a cow elk walked near them; and his first shot with a bow killed that cow elk---with a field point through the heart. Totally illegal kill; one of the guys tagged the elk; (but was angry as he was looking for a big bull). But a target point killed that cow.... it was an accurate shot.
THE VOICES HAVEN'T BOTHERED ME SINCE I STARTED POKING THEM WITH A Q-TIP.

Well,it looks like 53% of elk hunters use bows in the 50-60# range???? Figured after all the talkin on the other elk hunting threads this would be much higher????
