We must go beyond the textbooks, go out into the untrodden depths of the wilderness & travel & explore & tell the world the glories of our journey

Wives can be tough, use the same arrow you would use for elk or other large boned thick skinned game - that is as heavy as possible with a razor sharp two blade.

Shaun, Thanks for the tip.  I just need to work on my stealth tactics now.  They really throw you off with the eyes in the back of their heads!!

My daughter shoots several bows that draw 30-35# at 24.  She uses 1516 Easton Jazz shafts cut to 27" with a 125 gr point.  There is no screw in insert for that small of a shaft, but the shank of a standard screw in point fits neatly inside the shaft.  I just hot glue the points in with no type of insert.  She shoots 3D with me about every Sunday and she has never had a point pull off in a target. If you want the ability to screw in the points the half-out inserts for easton redlines fit perfectly and can be epoxied in.
I'm not lost ... I'm exploring alternative destinations
