Well I talked to Tim Baker about the handle being long, Well I did a good thing... He told me it should help with no stacking & have more energy stored..I don't mind the look of it...

It's raining again so most likely no bow work today... The main reason is My Bow shop is OUTside...

Sal, looking good.  Funny how you just started with one board bow and now you are bow building crazy!    :knothead:   Keep it up buddy.    :clapper:

LOL, Jerry... I got the bug. I think it's more of I know I can do it, but yet to get it to last.. So far I'm 1 for 10. I have read that some great bows now make about that or more, before being good to sale them or able to build them at will.

Learning to make something that can/will help in the case of surviving. I know we don't need to be making bows for WAR, but what would happen if I was on a trip... say Alaska, and something happened... stuck out in NO WHERE, with a axe & knife or just stones (well I need 50 more years of making bows before that happens....STONES).

Friday looks good to finish the red oak bow, But I found out someone moved the wenge bow and I have to re-Do the splice. SO with that said, I'll be making the bow smaller & thinner... If I layed out the splice right ( cutting Tomorrow)then it should be  60-58" T2T  making it 1.5-1.25" wide. I'm glad the Osage didn't come yet or I would have went off...

Sal,that chunk of osage should be closin in on your doorstep, think we shipped Mon!
Your other bow is lookin good!
Stay sharp, Kenny.
