I set up some hunting arrows for my recurve today, when i finished i put them in my quiver and wondered what everyone else carries in their quiver. So my question is: What kind of quiver do you use, how many arrows do you carry, and what kind of heads do your arrows have.

For me i use a Eagles Flight quiver, with 4 arrows, 3 are tipped with broadheads and 1 is a footed carbon arrow with either a judo or blunt.

I was just intrested to see what you guys carry.

I carry a hip quiver with six broadheads when I hunt deer or hogs. I have three wide four blades and three four blade Delta's sharp. I shoot the Delta's if I want more penetration. If I plan on shooting a practice shot I use a matching practice BH. All are sharp except the practice.Ken

Depends on the situation...

90% of the time I use a GFA Quiver with 5 broadheads and a Judo (I find that 7th slot in the back side behind the strap mount virtually impossible to access so don't put an arrow in it).

In the rare instances when I want to carry more arrows than the GFA, I use my Adams Arrow Holster with up to 9 broadheads and 1 Judo.

When The situation dictates a bow quiver I use a 3R strap on with 3 broadheads and a Judo...

EFA bow quiver 3 arrow.  For deer and hogs 3 Magnus Mag I or Ribtek 160 grain broadheads.  May start carrying along a footed carbon with a zudo just to take shots at pesky squirrels.  May swith back to my GN strap-on to give a bit more room.  Have used a GFA style quiver on extend hog hunts a Granger WMA TX where shoots are fast and furius.  Makes those shots at a walking deer seem tame.

For practicing, I put 10 arrows in a self-made back quiver.  Five are 460 grain cedars, five are 624 grain carbons.  Because they fly differently and I am pulling them at random, it forces me to keep my mind in each shot.  It's just a little game to keep me amused.

I use a GN 5-arrow adjustable strap-on with four Ace Express broadheads and one blunt, either an Ace Hex or a Judo.

I use various quivers, but none on the bow, ever.  The one I use most frequently is the mini Cat quiver.  I carry six Magnus or Grizzly tipped arrows.  No judos, no blunts, no field points unless I'm stumping or small game hunting.  I don't want to blow any chances when after deer so I leave the other stuff at home.

Usually 6 in a plains or back quiver.  Growing up in NJ and hunting in the Pine Barrens, we would take even more.  Use to hunt where wild dog packs roamed.

It varies with my mood.  Can't shoot stumps or squirrels without ammunition.  At least eight or ten.

Stringdancer

Six is the norm for me....  Four 125gr Magnus 2 blade broadheads, and 2 Judos all in a back quiver from Mike's Archery Leather or a deer hyde Plains quiver.
