magnus, zwickey, ace, STOS...
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

I have shot through two elk scapulas now. Not on purpose but you know how it is when you release. I use zwickey deltas. Gary

I'm going to already double up before Terry jumps in here.

Benny Nganabbarru

Great shot there, David! Puts 'em down quick when needed, eh! My favourite 2-blade broadhead is whichever one has just done the trick on a feral animal - I've tried lots and like most.

I shoot two blades a lot but not exclusively, pretty hard to pick one there are so many good ones.  I suppose forced to pick it would be the Grizzly, but I'm awful fond of the big Magnus and the STOS heads as well, and have been messing with the No Mercy heads lately and they will hunt this fall for sure.

Nah Dave...they weren't all pass throughs....I've jammed a few off side shoulders, and a couple of skull bases on follow up shots.  And even a couple of my side shoulders on those crazy wheeling TX deer that are broadside when you release, but severly quartering away when the arrow gets there.....

It just sounded good at the time.    :biglaugh:

DW, Those Simmons did the trick alright, hows the blood trail? i've heard some say that they couldnt find anything for about 20-30yards and then it was real thin. Doesnt seem to be an issue for you  :clapper:

Paul.

ABSOLUTELY not the case for me. I've been using them for around 18 years and do try other Heads but always seem to come back to them Because of the blood trails....Elk, Bear, White-tails, and several Hogs, they're hard to beat in my opinion...here's some pics from where the Animal was standing on Impact.....

Indeed, great examples DW, and that is quite the splattering on impact. Thanks for sharing.

I prefer the Zwickeys over the Magnus. I tried Wolverines and Grizzlys last year and they are great also.

Desperado

I LOVE the old green Bear Razorheads(no bleeders) with a 50 grain brass insert on my Cx 150's out of my Black Widow but the Montana pronghorns that ended up quickly dead from this set up hate them!  Cotton

zwickey black diamond deltas.
THE VOICES HAVEN'T BOTHERED ME SINCE I STARTED POKING THEM WITH A Q-TIP.
