Hey Everybody,
I bought a Samick Journey 64" recurve a couple years ago for bowfishing, but am just now getting around to shooting it.  The recommended brace height is 7.5-8.5", which is a mighty big range.  I'm shooting a 14 strand B50 string on it.  Anybody have any recommendations?
Thanks so much, Paul

I have both of mine set at 8" and this works the best for me.

Thanks for the advice Timbuck2.  Middle of the road is probably a good place to start anyway.

I'm not sure if this will help you any Paul but here is a little more info about my bows.

I draw a little over 29" and one of my Journey bows scales at 48#.
The other Journey is 53# @ my draw length and I shoot of the shelf.

The 48 pounder has a endless loop low stretch string.
I have a B-50 dacron flemish string on the 53# Journey.

Arrows are XX75 2016's.

Paul, you probably have to play with it a little.  See what works best.  But, my Journey is about 8".  I maybe under because I don't check it as often as I should.

Anyway, I would recommend a low stretch string.  Shoots so much nicer.  Nothing you can't kill with the a Journey.
