A hole from a multi blade will leave more blood on the ground than a slit from a 2 blade....if the arrow passes though and   all things being equal, which is the way it should be AND should be compared to be fair.   Easily provable on a simple oil can....the bigger the holes in the top and bottom...the faster it runs out.

You just need to figure out if you've got enough bow to get that pass through the animal you're after.  Bheads are like tools, and you might want to change up depending on the game you are after.

Posted this a few times before but as others have collectively stated above, the factors that influence bloodtrails are:

In order of importance,
1) Shot placement
2) Attaining at least a partial pass-through
3) broadhead sharpness
4) broadhead size/blade count

Start with the head that you get your best groups with (#1). Choose a shaft that when paired with your broadhead of choice results in a total arrow weight of 10-12 grains per pound of draw weight (#2). Then make sure the broadhead is extremely sharp (#3).

If you make sure that the above bases are covered, bloodtrails won't be an issue and #4 becomes far less significant.

I belive the most important thing is razor sharp and being able to put it were it has to go 2,3, or 4 blades they all do the job
