I followed the lead from a couple gangers and built up the courage to stipple the grip on a couple of bows. It is very time comsuming but the results are great.  I love the feel.

I would guess it took about 3-4hrs total time.

I did follow Tim's "how 2" on Powwow. I used a different bit for the border but all else was pretty much the same.  Hardest part was mustering up the courage to make the first dimple.

Cool, I'm sending you another project bow to do for me! You did such a nice job, thought you'd want to do another one...! :0)  I would have a hard time getting started too. Before you is a beautiful bow and you have a power tool in your hand...yikes!!!

I have a bow in mind that I'd like to do that to.
Unfortunately, like Snag, I'd be like a dog about to crap razor blades with a power tool in my hand.
