When discussing the grinding angles on a double-bevel broadhead, how is 25 degrees measured? With respect to the centre-line of blade or total? Thanks

I always figured from the hone being 90 degrees. The tool being sharpened is held at the angle in relation to the stone.

Generally when we talk about sharpening angles we're refering to the individual bevels on each side of the blade. (Yes, measured from the centerline of the blade).

If I say that I'm sharpening this blade at 25 degrees, what I mean is I'm putting a 25 degree bevel on each side of the blade which results in a total bevel of 50 degrees.

Single bevels are measured the same. The angle of the "unbeveled" side is zero so if the beveled side is 25 degrees, you end up with 25 degrees total bevel angle.

I know this is correct, I just hope that I explained it clearly enough to understand.
