I was out turkey hunting this morning and the birds weren't really talkin; so I decided to take a walk to another area. While I was walking I spotted this whistle pig about 30 yards from me.
So I figured I'd put a stalk on him and see if I could get with in range. I got within ten yards of him and let'em have it as he stood to scan the terrain. I put my arrow right through his chest; 20 seconds later he was done.
It was a great hunt even though it was just a ground hog. But after practicing my butt off with my recurve it was very rewarding to me to have been able to take a critter with it.

Well done, mate, and good luck with the gobblers.

Hey congrats man!  I just had my first trad kill this year as well.  I shot a doe towards the end of winter bow this season.  What a rush and what a feeling of accomplishment aight it??  Congrats again!!!
