I am wondering about the Shrew Longbows... Does anyone use them as their "Go TO" bow. The bow you'd choose if you could only make one shot and it had to count, Bow....
Blessings

Ummmm, yep, there are a bunch of us here I would say   ;)  .

Smallwood

without a doubt, the best bow i have ever shot.
i won't even shoot my other bows now that i have a shrew.

My 56" Shrew Classic Hunter (LB) was the third bow added to my collection (also have a 68" ChekMate Crusader - LB, and a 64" ChekMate Hunter II - recurve).

Yes, it is the one I reach for.  I love my Crusader, but that "little" bow is a ton of fun.

Not yet, but I think it will be. Went back to the Robertson Mystical for Turkey season. Didnt have a chance to work up a huntin shaft for the Shrew yet. But it is a pleasure to shoot. Deadly little bow!

**DONOTDELETE**

I have a 1990's modle 54" Shrew... It's my main bow... This season I'll be taking my selfbow, but The shrew will be near...

Donavan Daniel

I love them. I own 2 with another on the way. My brother also owns one, it is his only bow.

Gotta love those Super Shrews!

Cheers,
Donavan

Missouri Sherpa

I have a pair of super shrews with connexion hinge takedown.  They are getting beat up and are not so pretty but they get used to the exclusion of all my other bows.  I have a Super shrew classic with a bow bolt on order.  When it is ready I have a very nice super shrew deluxe one piece that will be for sale.

jack benson

Smith and I have 5 and one on order. Our father/son set of take down Chameleons(bevel lock) go with us everywhere. Smith's is 54" and mine is 56".

Great hunting and shooting bows.

Hey Donovan...the summer Shrew tour heads to Moosomin, Sk on June 10. Will probably spend a few days at Carrie's in-laws near Silton. Still in planning stage, but probably be neat to see if we could connect somehow.

Without geometry, life is pointless.

I have two 54" Classic Hunters and they are the only bow I shoot.

Two Shrews here, both 58".  One is a standard SS Delux 52#, the other a 50# SS Delux Carbon with Kingwood riser (the only one like this in existence, I'm told).  Nice bows.  The standard SS is my main hunting bow...carries, handles and shoots well with a bow quiver attached and the length is handy for hunting in thick stuff.  I like all of my bows, but the SS is definately one of my favorite designs.

ISP 5353

It is not the bow I shoot in competition, but it IS my go to bow to go hunting!

Red

Yes, I have a 58" Griffin and it is my favorite.

Gnat

I shoot a 60'' Griffin, 48# at 28'' ...it's my first traditional bow, but just feels right in the hand. I chose it after reading so many good opinions around here.

Not quite ready to hunt more than stumps yet, but since it's my only bow, it's definitely my everyday go-to bow and probably will be for a while. Hoping to hunt (my first time ever) with it next fall.
All truly great thoughts are  conceived while walking.

madness522

Yep almost to the exclusion of all my other bows.
