Bought this Sarrels Bobbcatt from a fellow Tradganger.  It's a beauty.  62', 45# @ 28", cocabola and zebrawood.  Shoots like a dream.
Will give it a good goin-over this week.

That's an interesting design George. Beautiful and graceful looking bow. What does it feel like at the shot?

I've never seen limb savers mounted that far out on the limbs. Have you shot the bow both with and without those to see what difference there is?

I've never seen a bow with 2 foot fadeouts..

Again, an interesting design. It is a looker !

Nice looking bow George. I like the 50's recurves. bretto

Another fine bow you have there George.

George D. Stout

Tom....the bow came with the limbsavers on, I'm going to try without them tomorrow.  It is a unique design....those fadeouts go forever, but it's as smooth as butter and absolutely dead in hand on the shot.

I just came in from shooting the bow.  The 2016 at 29" are a tad limber; at 28" they fly perfectly.  This is a 45 pounder now.  My point-on is between 50 and 55 yards with those 28" 2016; about 460 grains.  I was also shooting 50/55 tapered cedars with Razorheads on them and getting excellent flight.

I want to force/draw the bow tomorrow as well...I can't find any build-up physically as far as I can pull the thing.  It is deeply curved as well.

I shot last week in Austin with several guys shooting Sarrell's bows. Sure look good.

Sarrels are very popular in Texas right now. Every model of his I've shot, I loved.

suweet, those woods look good for some stump shootin. By the way that looks like a good tab... I'm looking for a second--how do you like it and what is it?

sweet... I'm a sucker for figured Zebrawood.
We should have shotguns for this kind of deal.

Greg....it is indeed quite figured, moreso than a lot of the zebrawood you see nowadays.

shade seeker....that one is an older Neet tab.  It's cordovan leather, and I found it in an old archery box that was full of such little accessories.

Nice - have a good time with it - or just ship to me and I will!
