no carbon, but the yew limbs really smoke an arrow.  
i am trying to get used to the difference with this bow versus my moab.  they are very different in many ways.  the moab weighs almost half of the strikeforce and the brace height of the moab is 6.5" and the strikeforce is over 8".  amazingly, i shoot them both about the same as far as accuracy.  moab is quicker and a little flatter shooting though.  custom moab coming in august!
