Thanks mate,

I have plenty of fancy ones I have made, but I wanted to make some simplistic ones to go with a particular bamboo backed Longbow... :)

Sitka Supreme
The woods are quiet when the sun goes down
The rustling of leaves is the only sound

A buck appears as if from a dream
you're ready for him with a Sitka Supreme

Ramrod straight and tough as nails
A darn good arrow for hunting Whitetails

When the moment of truth rolls around
your Sitka Supremes won't let you down

Gotta love Sitka shafts.
here some with thread wraps on the leading edges

These will be heading to Manitoba and Stickflingers this spring, looking for a good bear.[attachment=1]

Had some old POC that were crying out to be made into arrows.

Great looking arrows! I have a dozen in process for a mid May trip to Stickflingers in Manitoba myself. I will post once completed. Fletcher, what dates are you there?

Awesome arrow art, the ones I put together are no where near that good looking.  Just need them to fly straight, but pretty is good, too!!!

Normally I like to see the wood but this batch I'm going green shaft and a white cap. Stained the green yesterday and will try to do the white this week sometime. Going with natural barred feathers also. Still need to decide on what colors for crest.

There is something magical about wood arrows they are a joy to build and create to your imagination. When tuned they fly as well as any arrow they are a joy to carry in your quiver and to hunt with. Don't worry they will get the job done. If you never have built a dozen arrows your missing out. Get Busy!
