Has anyone had trouble making a GAMEMASTER shoot quietly. I changed brace ht., wool puffs, string leechs and still not that quiet. Arrows are from 525gr. to 650gr.,bow is 47# @ 29"  thanks

Ron, this is what I did to make mine very quite.
1. Something between the limbs. felt, DAS limb pads, cut up folder or greating card.
2. Change from factory string. I used a D97 or a  TS-1 flemished string with rubber type cat whiskers. Wool works great wrapped around the string where it hit the limb also.
3. Set the brace height at the top end of what's recommended.
4. Put a 5" "Limb Saver rubber stabalizer and limb savers on.
5. I shot 10gr per pound, 540gr arrow.

You also get a ring from the hollow spots in the riser. The rubber stab really helped with that. Bass pro sells a kit with limb savers, stab, and string leaches.

This is what worked for me when I had mine. Hope this helps in some way.

Ron, What Mark said is right on the money.  I am borrowing one currently from another TG member, and it is 60@26.  He has something between the limb pockets and lots of string leeches, and I believe a different string, but no stabilizer.  I am shooting 9/10 gpp and think it's very quiet.

Everything mentioned above an I would also add some bow hush, or felt where the string makes contact with the limb.

i put rubber whisker type silencers on mine, set brace to 7 3/4", shoot 9gpp, and i dip the string loops and about 2.5" of the string in acetone. this strips the wax off the ends of the string and makes it so soft and quiet....(learned that trick from mr.bob lee:)

when i was shooting a game master,  i used a dacron flemish string with cat wiskers, even with arrows that were 7.5 grains per lbs  it was fairly quiet

I use all the DAS stuff on mine as well as the limbsavers.  I also like a thicker grip so I wrapped some tennis grip tape that is marketed as "shock absorbing".  My GM is very quiet. I even shoot ACCs with 125s.
