I plan to use tru oil as the finish over the writing on the bow. The wood is dark so am looking for a white or silver fine tip pen. Any ideas??

India ink works for most finishes, never tried it with tru-oil. I would try it on a scrap piece first to be sure.

never did a bow... but a fine tipped paint marker can be found at arts n craft stores... come in silver and gold too!!! Its worked on a few slate calls I've done...
Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

White, archival calligraphy ink and a very fine point pen is what I use. I dry the ink quickly with my heat gun set on the low setting and put 2 or 3 coats of Tru-Oil over the lettering.

White India ink works great for me. I use t-bird or conversion varnish as a finish though.

Do you have a source, brand name ect? I will want to use white, silver or gold since the wood is dark.
