Does anyone know much about the older True Flight aluminum arrows? I visited an older hunting store this weekend and noticed they had a ton of old aluminum arrows for sale so I picked up a dozen 2018s and 2117s.  If they're not very good, I don't suppose I'll be out much, they were only 40 bucks :bigsmyl:

As a side note, they also had about 10 dozen of the old Bear arrows still in the box as well.  I asked the lady about them but she wouldn't sell any.  She said she didn't know what they were worth and had to figure that out.

Caleb, I believe you got yourself one helluva deal.  They are Easton shafts and AO besides.   They will serve you well.

Good find, might want to strip off the vanes. They might crumble from old age when shot. Where those Bear arrows the Metric Magnums? That would be a real good score as well.

M60 I will definitely have to give them a re-fletch.  The 2117s actually came with feathers that are in pretty good shape.  As far as the Bear arrows I'm not sure, they were high up on a shelf where I couldn't reach.  I just know some were in white boxes with green lettering and some were white and red boxes.

Is it deer season yet?

That is a neat find. I think I used to get them at wal-mart a long time ago.

That brand was available at KMart as well. Pretty popular with stores that didn't have arrow making facilities. Wonder what happened to True Flight?

Kelly

True Flight was an volume arrow manufacturer, they used Easton shafts so all is well. They mainly sold to distributors and dealers.
