Speedy recovery, Ron. Unfortunately we don't heal as quickly as we used to.

That's what I hear but that only applies to old people right?  :goldtooth:

Great to hear you have a bow to start with Ron. Joe is correct in his statement on more advanced therapy. My therapist worked me over real good yesterday and said I'm improving rapidly. Thank goodness I switched to him as my other therapist only planned on every 2 weeks, would've put me way behind. I also have a good friend that lent me a Sky 28# target bow to work into. I also have access to some Matthews Genesis bows to start out. I know they aren't trad but will be for a week or 2. Should be able to shoot a few arrows next week. Keep up the great work, keep us posted and good luck....oh yeah I'm just a young'en 60 years old 😂

It's good to read that your recovery continues to go well.

I'll be 68 next Saturday. That used to be old but not anymore...at least most of the time that is.  :goldtooth:

Glad to hear you are coming along Ron.

I'll be driving past Armstrong creek today. Maybe I will see you?  Maybe I will just talk to the ghost?
Relax,

You'll live longer!

I saw my Surgeon today for my 6 week post surgery appointment. They took an X-Ray, checked my range of motion and pronounced me doing very well . He said he didn't think I would need outside therapy and to just continue to do the stretching exercise's I've been doing at home.

I ask him when I could start pulling a bow and also if I could ride my Harley. He told me he would like me to continue to take it easy for another 6 weeks to make sure everything is knit properly. My next appointment is September 12th.

It may seem like a long time, but the 6 weeks have gone fast, at least they have for me. Stay the course and you'll be in the woods before long.
