Oberon, this is my second Blacktail currently. I have had others that just didn't work for me in poundage that I have had to sell. That's the problem...I sell one and another one pops up and bites me!!! lol  I would love to see your blacksmith art!  I love that stuff. I have been looking at some to hang on the wall and maybe a sign for a vacation cabin...?

Grant, that is what is going on now. My other one is hanging up while the honeymoon with this one is in full swing.  For some reason the other one I keep coming back to though.  I think I will keep these two because I now know what I should be shooting, as far as, poundage is concerned...who am I kidding! lol

That is one BEAUTIFUL bow you have there....Congradulations on acquiring such a treasure.  I bet it is gonna bring you years of hunting enjoyment and stories.  Heck it'll do that even if you don't take anything with it.  I'd be happy just to carry that bow on my arm in the woods even if I didn't have any arrows to go with it.

Seriously though, thanks for posting pics.  That's a bow of a lifetime.
