This is a 54#@28" Blacktail Elite VL, cocobola footed with bocote and bocote veneered limbs, accents are bloodwood and ebony and I think satinwood. It shoots like a champ! My attitude is a lot better when coming into work when I can find something like this on my desk!  But yesterday was a looong day. I was wanting to get it strung up and shoot it so bad!

Nice looking bow, and I like how the wood on the front side is a natural camouflage look.  Should be a lot of fun setting that one up.

Nice looking bow Snag-how many is that now? I have a similar problem. When I find a make/model I really like I have to get a backup, then the backup becomes a first-stringer and I need another backup, ad nauseum. Nice problem to have, hope she shoots as good as she looks.       Grant

 Just received an email from Norm, think that I will take a run out to the coast and visit with him and talk bows.   Norm said that he would  also like to come and visit with me and see what I do at my artist blacksmith shop.   Pretty sure that I see a Blacktail one piece recurve in my future.
