Mounting bracket for string tracker

I spent the weekend turkey hunting and I used a string tracker for the first time.  Being really prepared to shoot a turkey didn't help me see any but that is a different matter all together.   :banghead:
I mounted the tracker to my riser using some industrial strength velcro. It worked but I had to take all the arrows out of my quiver because the string tracker is too wide to fit with the arrows in place.  My problem is that I don't want to drill a hole in my riser or my quiver to mount the string tracker so I need some type of mounting bracket or similar structure that I could rig up to hold the tracker to my bow.  Before I start any fabrication I figured I would ask as not to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks,

Chris

I have found that mounting it above my hand as you are describing works much better than having it in a stabilizer mount, here's a pic of one attached with double sided tape, and camo tape over the whole thing.....

here's one mounted on the same design of bracket but on a bow with kwikee quiver inserts..

here's a quick sketch of bracket desing...

I made the bracket using black PVC type pipe and
I cut the pipe lengthwise and then heated it until I could make it flat. hope this helps.

I wished I could post a photo of the one I made but I can't  so I will try and describe it.

Material: 1" x 5" x 1/16" piece of metal flat stock.
1 1/4" fine thread bolt, nut and lock washer.

Drill a hole the same size as the thread rod that goes into the string tracker about 5/8" from one of the ends.  Bend the flat stock into a U shape leaving an 1 1/4" gap. Using a nut and lock washer, attach  bolt to the bent metal with the thread part of the bolt facing away from the U-shape.

I put mole skin on the flat stock that I tape to my bow just below the handle.  Works great, no drilled holes in the bow and I take it off when I am not hunting.

I hope that wasn't confusing but for less than a buck I have a detachable game tracker string holder.
