Let me try this again....I Love Georgia, this year I decided to hunt further south than I did last year, last year I hunted the North Georgia Cohutta WMA, what a beautiful place to go and let yourself unwind in natures beauty. This year I decided to go further south and hunt the Chickasawhatchee WMA in Georgia.....[attachment=1]

I didn't know anything about this WMA, so I started out walking a fire lane behind our camp.....

Have patience...I can't seem to get anymore pics to load and post....

I hear that is a great place and easy to get lost in.  Looking forward to more...

I found hog tracks in the sandy soil and also found a really nice buck rub line, maybe I should come back to deer hunt.....[attachment=1]

Day one was just trying to get a feel for the area by driving the roads and walking as much as possible...

I walked into several areas that appear they normally hold water, by t yet they were dry, I found plenty of hog sign, but had yet to spot my first hog....[attachment=1][attachment=2][attachment=3]

I found an area that had been cut and burnt, there was hog sign up and down this old roadbed so I decided to sit off to the side and just stay until dark, hoping a hog would stroll by and offer me a nice broadside shot....[attachment=1]

The weather was in the lower 30's at night and lower to mid 50's during the day. It was soooooo nice to just sit around the campfire and watch the flames dance,  y worries and concerns seemed a thousand miles away.[attachment=1]
