I have an older 60" SK and was wondering a good brace height someone might be using, string length also. Dan

Grant Young

Dan, Start at around 8" brace and go from there-probably up to around 8.5". Every bow is a little different-even or maybe especially production bows- and your personal shooting style, arrow choice, release and so on will be factors in determining your best brace height. AMO string length for a 60" recurve is 56" actual. Hope this helps,

What Grant said is correct. Great bows, those SK's. Very happy between 8" and 8.5" brace height. They may not be high tech, but they sure are smooth, and very classy.
