I'm happy to hear my mate Ben has made it into TBM. It has been a dream for him to have a few articles submitted, much like myself.

Well done mate, looking forward to our hunt oneday.

Ben has a secret weapon that he hasn't mentioned.  He has a younger brother Nick who is cut from the same cloth - and he only lives about three hours from me in Western Australia.

Nick lives in Red stag country and the roar is on at the moment.  He has sussed out a great hunt for us and I head off Friday morning for a three day hunt.  We have a long weekend in Australia (Anzac weekend) so great opportunity to get amongst some critters.

I am so stoked - no Government red tape, no licence needed, no tag and no fees.  Down here they are feral critters.  Nick said there is also goats, scrub bulls, brumbies foxes and rabbits.

To whack the icing on the cake my new Firefly hunting bow arrived yesterday (whew - just in time) so will be accompanying me.
I was going to put some pics of it up and talk about how marvelous it is and Jim's great service.  However I will wait until after the weekend - I might have some good news.

Thanks for hooking me up with little Bro, Ben - will keep you posted!

One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action .... is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum, in which men steal through existence, like sluggish waters through a marsh, without either honor or observation

I like reading Ben's stuff....especially when there is a dead camel picture involved!

Ben is cool.

It's especially good to see the guys from "Down-Under" enjoying our sport as much as we do.  Sometimes we think it's just an American adventure.  Lots of tales to tell guys, so we expect to see more in TBM from our brothers down-under.  Congrats Ben....I enjoyed your article as well.
