If you shoot a bow between 40-50 lbs, you need to look at the Sponsor's Classifieds by Sipsey River. Our best price ever on Carbon shafts.

Great price!! I used to shoot them out of my 42# PSA and with 175 grains up front they smoked!!  If ya shoot between 40-50 #s and experiment with length and point weight these are a great arrow.

I need some shafts for a 35lb recurve, but don't know squat about them. What shafts are you talking about?
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

If you want to see the specifications and a picture of these shafts, go to Sponsor's Classifieds.
Look for ad titled "Vapor 2000 closout" by Sipsey River. All information is listed there.

I havent played with carbons much.  Could I get these to fly out of my wifes bow?  28#@24" Shrew with 450+ string shooting a 26" arrow?  She draws 24".

They would be awful stiff for her cut at that length Tim. If you left them full length and used 100 grain inserts/heavy points and tuned from there they might work ok.

Thanks Dave I kinda figured that.  She is shooting her aluminums pretty good right now.  I think I will stick with them.

Thanks for the heads up John.Is this the last of these shafts you can get?

I'm very naive wrt carbons! How about with a selfbow, 60@27, 29,5" arrow? Yes, my ash and poplar dowels work just fine but ... I'm always looking to broaden my horizons.

Mark. I am not sure about the self bow, but 60# is probably way too stiff for these shafts. The spine is about .500-.550.

Thanks for the feedback, John.
