Hi guys. Its been about 4 years since I've really been checked into this site. Finally got a home computer so I can finally keep up with things. I started out just playing around with trad archery for about 2 years and the last 2 years I've been hunting with my recurve bow after selling the compound bow. Not had any luck getting a deer----I start thinking  too hard about the shot and have either missed or not taken the shot when it was available. Just not enough confidence, I guess. But, when I don't think about and over-analyze the shot, good things can happen----Check out my first trad kill--a female coyote on a steady trot at 32 paces from my tree-stand:

Hopefully this works  :)

Nice shot. Yotes are hard to shoot with a bow.

Amazing! Your first trad kill? Sheesh,  I am over 100 trad and have yet to take a wiley yote. Everything down hill from here. I'd say your off to a good start.

Doesn't look like you need to worry about your ability with the bow, but I'd guess future deer need to be scared, very scared!! Great shootin' and welcome!!     :clapper:
