Wanted to say thanks to Mike and all the guys who put so much work into the Geauga Bowmans Turkey Shoot this weekend!  It was my first 3D shoot and we had a blast.  I'm sure some of the guys will have pics to post.

I couldn't pull a bow right now if I wanted to.  Unless of course someone twisted my arm! Great job on this shoot fellas.

The shoot was great! I couldn't pull a bow back right now if my life depended on it. I guesstimate I shot between 500-600 arrows. Mike you guys do a fantastic and it will definately be something I attend every year. The courses were beautiful and were expertly done. The practice range was nice and the camping great. Thank you!

Here's some pics from this weekend

Some early morning bacon

Kenny and his two kids warming up this morning. Along with longsticks and Mark C.'s son

The next two pics are of the turkey I shot. Best shot of the weekend for me. The turkey was about 50 yards. I had to take a pic because I'll never be able to do it again

Look way in the back

Then here's some pics of the terrain that the courses went through.

It was a perfect weekend and the weather was beautiful. Thanks to all the people who made it possible.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Kevin, sorry we missed you. We got there around 8:15 this am, and they said you were there and gone yesterday.

Charlie, we brought your kid's bow home with us. Send me your address and I'll ship it out. If I had known you were leaving, I would have had Adam shoot his bow the third round. My kids had a ball. I shot like crap, but I had a blast watching the two of them hike and shoot.

Denny, it's always a pleasure shooting with you, and the way you help my kids negotiate the mud holes and give tips on shooting is priceless. Thank you my friend.

Mark, it was fun shooting with your son on the range, and chatting with you about all things archery. We'll hook up this week.

Mike, as always you guys did a great job. The kids always get excited when I tell em we're coming to your shoot. Adam got a little upset with me when I told him we had to go. He wasn't satisfied with 30 targets and an hour on the range. He wanted to do the first set again (he likes the flying target). I enjoyed talking to John too. He likes the kids and really took time with them. (Any more Bratts John?)  :bigsmyl:

Good to see Don again also.

BBassi and BobW also made it all the way from NY state. Good to see Brent again and to meet Bob for the first time. Bob had his SWEET little Shrew toy with him. Dang what a nice shootin little bow. Brent slipped a hophornbeam stave into the back of my truck. That'll be fun when I get the time! Thanks bud!

I know I'll miss somebody on here. I was a great time today and I only wish I could have been there yesterday and camped with the guys.

Good to see you again TJ and Kevin. I'll see you Saturday.

Kenny,

No big deal.  I didn't realize what time it was and had to make tracks. My wife would have killed me if I stayed any later! I was already 2 hours or so late getting home.
