turkey season opens here on Sunday, so saturday we are headed to camp.  I'll be back home Tuesday where I'll find Miss Hope waiting for me to take her hunting for the next two weeks.  Things are looking up for the home team.

No hunting for us, but 12 gallons of sap tonight and more trees running good so hopefully the sugar shack will be fired up and syrup done by Sunday night.  I love the woods in the spring.

Spending time up north with just the wife!!  NO KIDS!!  We got up here last night and let me tell you it was awesome to sleep a full night without getting up with a kid.  Today we go looking for sporting goods and archery shops!!  Anybody know of any in the Traverse City, Michigan area??
