seeing that most high speed cam bows wont shoot that speed wouldnt it be common logic to assume the chorn. was broke or needed a battery change? i can assure you that no stickbow shoots that speed

I had one shoot 387 once.....and 388...and 386....

Then after deleting the string 47, 47, 48....

Then I changed the battery and I got the 185-186.

I shot a 650 grain arrow at 236,and 238 from my 49# bow. Put in a fresh battery and it was back to 'normal'.

Great numbers, but take it for what it's worth and then replace the battery and move the chronograph where there are no shadows.

I'm with Vermonster they must have shot one of there new recurves out of a cannon. I think with smokeless powder 330+fps is totally doable. What kind of a backstop do you guys use when your shooting the recurve through the chronograph? Next time your testing please video it as I'd like to see that.

One more vote here for the battery! Had identical results 6-8 weeks ago with a straight longbow and woodies...

I agree with the Chuck Norris theory.  I don't think he kicked it though.  Chuck just stared the chrono down till it give him the numbers he wanted!

Wonder how fast it shot on say March 31st or April 2nd  :D
