This is not a joke. We shot a recurve bow thru the chronograph this evening. This is the speed we registered. This was a traditional bow, not a compound!

55 lbs, Gold Tip 5575, about 460 grains.

I used to work with those FPS thingys and they would sometimes give ya a funny reading,, How many shots were like that and where were you putting the arrow through, Usually you have to take an average,,

LOL, a couple years ago I posted on another site speeds of 205 foot per second. I was new to the chronograph and had no Idea what was going on.For sure the chronograph was off, or I did something wrong.
