Anybody have a Palouse Recurve? How's it shoot? Been thinking about a thread on these from a month or two ago, and I'd eventually like to have one for my little collection.

They are just so pretty and unique, and I can't help but think they're shooters. I draw about 26.5"- anybody care to report on how they behave at that length?

Thanks,
-Charlie

Okay, I know they don't make them anymore and they're probably pretty rare, but I thought a guy here had one.

Somebody must own one. Anybody?

Thanks, Jhoneil. That thread is the one I've been drooling about. I'm the knuclehead who asked how to use the archiving sites.

I was wondering how these bows actually shoot. I;m pretty sure from the pictures that I want one. Eventually.

I figured you'd see this thread eventually. Thanks for the response.

Dunno if this info is still good or not.

oh right Doh! - must be getting old and my memory is not as  good anymore....

I want one myself and as soon as I get some time off from work, I will try to make my own static western recurve. I've only done horsebows with no shelves before but they seem to be similar.
